Note that my web server where I was hosting my various sites changed its policy in 2017 preventing me to send these mass emails/blasts through its server. Since I was busy with other projects I decided to put this service on hold, until April 12 of 2023, hence the gap in positive reviews.
For those that say “drawn from our G+ page”, unfortunately, since then, Google has phased out this service so these comments are no longer available from their online source. Last year I got my CV blasted to over 15,000 translation agencies worldwide and I haven’t looked back. If you’re looking to jump-start your translation career – this is for you. I’m still receiving inquiries more than one year later. Needless to say, I now have 4 -5 very nice, regular customers who offer me interesting projects on a regular basis and pay well. There has been a lot of skepticism about this service, but if you take it seriously, it will take you seriously and give you the stability you are looking for. It goes without saying that the Blast CV service only puts you in touch with potential customers. The rest is up to you so be prepared to answer a lot of emails and do a lot of tests! Good luck!

I was totally overwhelmed by the response I received and got back my return on investment within the first week.
I now have a good collaboration with many agencies Europe-wide as well as with an agency in the USA. I still haven’t hit my desired monthly income but I know I can, and this is partly because I am more interested in building up a good partnership with agencies and building my business rather than doing a lot of jobs, I am doing them well and taking my time with the projects.
The price range for translation work differs some between the agencies and I found a price that suits living in Germany. Many agencies tried to push me way down but when I explained that it would be impossible to make a living with their prices, they relented and accepted a higher rate.
All in all it was a very good launch to my career. I was a full time translator when I lived in the Netherlands NL > EN but stopped when I moved to Germany and had a baby. Now I am working at 50% capacity DE > EN and know I will be able to operate at full capacity with some lovely clients.

As a result of the mailing I am now working with two agencies in Russia and maybe making some USD 600 a month. Russian agencies however, pay in 2-3 days. Russian companies and Ukrainian ones are the best. No registration, just go straight to work.
Russia has lots of jobs particularly Russian- English but they all pay about 2c per word translation and 1c per word editing. It comes to some $4-5 per page of text. Not much money but a lot of work, and if you do not mind working hard, you can live on that money.

Your service is excellent, the problem was with me.
In my CV, I offered commercial native Hungarian translations from 3 Western languages. To my greatest surprise, on the first morning after the night when Karel sent out my CV-s, I received a large translation job from a famous American translations agency based in Chicago, followed by enquiries and registration requests from prestigious translations agencies based in New York, the Scandinavian countries, Paris, Lithuania, Spain, London, Russia, Germany, etc.
Thus I received enquiries also from countries, which would logically not need my language combinations, but which reported a growing demand for my language combinations. It was also surprising that suddenly I received enquiries from translations agencies in Germany in English, while I have never received any reaction from them when I applied for work to them in German.
I received 3-4 enquiries and registration requests per day from the whole world during several months (altogether approximately 100 enquiries and registration requests) , and I felt like Alice in Wonderland!
I have received translation jobs worth EUR 200-400/month for a period of 5-6 months with reference to my introductory mail sent out by you, and the companies asked me to register for a later jobs.

There were payment method problems, because the clients paid after two or three months, and many of them wanted to pay through PayPal, which I cannot handle. But I received paper cheques which I was able to cash. Once again, I am very thankful to you.
